Meet Our Care Providers

Omar Homsi, MD: Dr. Homsi completed his pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota in 1986.  He then went on to pursue a subspecialty in pediatric infectious diseases at Tulane University in Louisiana, from which he graduated in 1989.  Dr. Homsi has been practicing Pediatrics since that time. He does his best to take care of all his patient's needs, and to provide quality care in a friendly environment. He sees children of all ages for sick and well visits. He also has a special interest in making sure chronic conditions, such as asthma, allergies, or behavioral problems are taken care of properly, and he oversees the ADHD program in the clinic. He works with other providers in the clinic to develop an ongoing "up-to-date" service that meets the needs of our population. Patients who are 19 and above can see him and the family nurese practitioners until 23 years of age.
In addition to being board certified in Pediatrics, Dr. Homsi is also board certified in Pediatric Infectious Disease. He has been working at Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic since October 2000. He is happily married with 4 children.

Daphne Wright, MD: Dr. Wright attended Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee from 1999-2003. She completed her Pediatric Residency training in 2006 at Tripler Army Medical Center in the beautiful state of Hawaii.  Dr. Wright served on active duty from 2006-2010 at Fort Hood, to include a tour in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008.  She then practiced for 1 year as a GS employee in the Department of Pediatrics at Fort Hood and joined our practice in 2012. Dr. Wright is a board certified Pediatrician.  She is a mother of 2 who enjoys reading, video games, and spending time with her family.

Melody De Santiago, RN, CPNP: Melody was born and raised in Killeen, TX. She is a proud Red Raider having graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999. She then completed her graduate studies from University of Texas at Arlington in 2004. Melody has 10 years of pediatric nursing experience, and has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner at Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic since 2005. She loves her job and enjoys the time she spends with each patient, getting to know their family, and watching them grow! Her interests include travel, scuba diving, and church activities.

Neysa Stegmeyer, FNP-C: Neysa is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She joined Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic, PA team in 2017 and strives to provider excellent care for patients and their families. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. The majority of Neysa’s clinical nursing experience is in the field of Pediatrics. She has seven years of pediatric nursing experience and previously worked at BSWH McLane Children’s Hospital medical-surgical unit five years.

Neysa is avaialble to see children from infancy to teens. She also can see young adults up to 23 years. Whether it is a sick or wellness visit, she is happy to give her patients an excellent and pleasant experience.

 Neysa was raised in Killeen and loves being able to give back to her community. She is married with two beautiful daughters. Her interest include time with her family, music, and fishing. She is excited to be a part of Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic, PA team, enjoys caring for the children in our community, as well as getting to know her patient’s family.

Debra Lynch, FNP-C: Debra is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at Georgetown University and graduated in 2016. Most of her focus and training was in pediatrics. Debra’s emphasis is on holistic care that is patient and family focused. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Debra completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2012. She has four years of pediatric nursing experience and previously worked at BSWH McLane Children’s Hospital emergency department.

 Debra loves working with children, teens, and young adults. She is enjoying being a part of the team at Killeen Pediatric Care Clinic and Heights Pediatrics. She is married and has two cats, Sasha and Thomas. Her hobbies include reading, running, yoga, and traveling with her husband.
